Peter Marks

Peter Marks, age 58, passed away on December 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Patchogue, N.Y. and resident of Shirley for twenty-two years, Pete was employed at the Sing Sing Correctional Facility as a Corrections Officer. He loved cars - so much, that he was Past President of the Long Island Plymouth Car Club. Pete enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting, but more than anything, he loved and adored his family. Predeceased by his sister, Virginia Marks, Pete is survived by his devoted wife of twenty-two years; Nancy, adoring children; Erica Marks and Christopher Marks. both of Upstate, New York,  Giovanna Marks, Maria Marks, Gianna Marks, all of Shirley, New York, three cherished grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and loving siblings; Robert Marks, Jr., Mary Marks, and Margaret Marks.  Family and friends gathered for visitation at Davin's Funeral Home, Mastic. Funeral Mass was held at Christ Episcopal Church, Bellport with Rev. Buckley officiating. Entombment followed at Washington Memorial Park, Mt. Sinai.
