Janet Kirklewski

Janet Caroline Kirklewski, age 86, passed away at her Mastic residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Riverhead, New York and long time resident of Mastic, Janet was a member of the Forge River Senior Citizens Club. She was a very friendly, sociable lady who, in her younger years, liked to Polka. Janet liked to eat and, as she got older, found that she had a knack for needlepoint. Above all, Janet loved her family. Predeceased by her husband; William and son; Scott King, Janet is survived by her children; Debra ( Michael) Gosselin of Hampton Bays, Wendy (George) Hauptman of Syosset, Keith (Cathy) King of Mastic, Sandra (Robert) Ortiz of Mastic, grandchildren; Laurie Lindahl, Joe Hauptman, Allison Holland, Michael King, Christopher King, Thomas Ortiz, Brooke Wells, great grandchildren; Elizabeth, Amee, Nate, Sophia, Alina, Camden, and siblings; Constance Kwasna, and Joseph Brooks. Family and friends gathered for visitation at Davin's Funeral Home, Mastic. Interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches.
