Carl Nordstrom Obituary

Carl Nordstrom, age 68, passed away at Long Island Community Hospital, Patchogue. Born in Brooklyn, NY and resident of Shirley for over forty years, Carl served Honorably in the United States Navy and was employed as Assistant Superintendent at Heatherwood Apartments, Patchogue. Carl was a real" Outdoorsman". He enjoyed camping, fishing, and crabbing at the lagoon in Mastic. Most of all, he loved spending his time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife; Angela, children; Melissa (Eric) Tisch of New Jersey, George (Francine) Nordstrom of East Moriches, John Carl Nordstrom of Hampton Bays, grandchildren; Carly Jade Nordstrom, Lowen Nordstrom Tisch, and brother; Martin "Pookie" Nordstrom. Family gathered for funeral services at Davin's Funeral Home, Mastic. Private burial followed at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton. Committal Services with Full Military Honors at Calverton National Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
